How can digital content industry develop in Vietnam. I really don’t know. In fact, as many industry in Vietnam, we have a lager market, we have law, we have government support, but we’ve still in a low level of development. The first question is why? Why we still in a low level? In this blog post, I am going to find it out and answer for above why question.
The first ideal is copyright protection in Vietnam. We have copyright law in the first time in April 1995 but we still have many job for done at this moment. Our digital content is not protected with current law and current protect method. We have 7000vnđ/0.4usd/cd-dvd software shop every where, anyone can get the latest movie with only 2000vnđ/0.11 USD/day.
We have illegal music site with illegal content for long time like nghenhac.info, chacha.vn etc… How they can exist?? They provide contents, but when they want to protect their own contents, they must get permission of the copyright holder and vessel.
